Genre: Mobile, Turn-based Strategy, Deck-Building
Stack: Unity Engine, DOTween
Team size: 6
Duration: September 2023 - December 2023
Role: UI, tools & system programmer
Create your team of cats, and start your crusade against the evil pastries! Recruit cute warriors, clumsy warlocks, or silly archers, and face the forces biscuiting the world! Strategically deploy your cats to maximize their power, discover and enroll new ones along your way, and try to overthrow Glutonos, the donut king, and save the realm!

TOOLS

Cat as Trophies is a systemic game where the fun emerges from combining the unique abilities of different cats. The need to easily iterate on the various design bricks was crucial. To fulfill this need, I created a series of four tools in Unity:
- The Cat Integration Tool allows for the detailed creation of cats and their abilities. The name, texture, accessories, rarity, and much more can be customized through this tool (see Figure 2.1).

- The Enemy Integration Tool, similar to the Cat Integration Tool, enables the detailed creation of enemies (see Figure 2.2).

- The Player Deck Builder allows for composing the deck of cats that the player will have at the start of the game, mainly used for debugging (see Figure 2.3).

- The Enemy Team Composer allows for building synergistic teams of adversaries and noting their chance of appearance (see Figure 2.4).

UX/UI

Cat as Trophies is a free-to-play mobile game designed to be a "pay to fast" experience. The user experience (UX) and game design must align effectively to encourage players to visit the shop as often as possible. Accessible from all non-gameplay menus in the game, it offers players the opportunity to purchase new cat packs (see Figure 3.1).

Additionally, the player's team of cats should be editable within the game. An ergonomic menu has been integrated, allowing players to both organize their entire cat collection and compose their team (see Figure 3.2).
